Legal Services - Pro Bono for Save The Bowen, a not-for-profit organization Recently, the Save The Bowen organization has suffered through, and lost to, a few recently politically-motivated battles and power struggles which it has been quietly drawn into. If you are an attorney specializing in assisting not-for-profit organizations, please contact us. The help you can provide us is the highest priority on our needs list. Labor We need muscle and ingenuity to help us clear nearly 40 years of accumulated dust and debris from inside the building. Once the interior environmental work has been completed by licensed professionals, we will want to expedite the renovation process quickly. Contact us and let us know if you'll be available when the time comes. Materials Plexi-glass is paramount! Building materials of all kinds. Cinder blocks, roofing materials, plexi-glass, mortar for stone work, lawn equipment (Riding mower, rakes, shovels, weed killer). Special Skills/Services Parking lot work, and retaining wall construction. Of Importance Secure storage space near the hospital grounds for building materials donated by our special friends . Landscapers We need landscapers to help beautify and restore the once lush and sprawling lawn, now displaying its years of neglect from the previous owners. Stone Masons or Brick Layers Some of our limestone blocks need a skilled craftsman's expertise. Carpenters Although there is not much wood inside the building, some original woodwork still exists. There might be a need for new-wood constructions. Electricians Licensed electrical work will be required. Plasterers & Painters The plastering and painting operations will commence after the debris removal has been completed. This process can be performed by any of the volunteer laborers. Grant Writers Experienced and proven grant-writers are welcome and one of our highest priorities.
